The PIA/GATF Mechanical Ghosting Test Form is designed to show the effects of mechanical ghosting on a printed sheet. Typically, mechanical ghosting is caused by ink starvation, but can also be caused by incorrect-diameter form rollers and swollen or compressed blankets.
